Embellishment and Embroidery on Cloth Class

    Skill level: Beginner-Intermediate

    Cost: $25 + materials  (kit available for $10, beads of your choice are extra.  You may bring your own embellishments, as well.)

    Description:   This workshop is designed to teach the basics of adding beads and other embellishments to finished quilt projects and Crazy Quilt blocks.  Each participant will learn several different techniques, using a variety of materials.  Embroidery will not be extensively discussed.  Emphasis will be on adding beads, charms, and other decorative objects.  Hand sewing techniques will be emphasized.  Choice of embellishments and how much is enough will also be covered.

    Supplies needed:  Hand sewing kit including good cotton thread in several colors and a variety of needles

Small scissors.
